Travelling via Hereford and Oxford, not valid on trains to depart Hereford before 08:47.

Travelling via Newport (South Wales), not valid on trains timed to depart Newport (South Wales) after 05:45 and before 09:40.

Not valid on trains timed to arrive at London Waterloo before 11:48.

Return Travel

Not valid on trains timed to depart:

  • London Paddington after 04:29 and before 10:30 and after 15:01 and before 19:01.

  • Reading after 04:29 and before 10:30 and after 15:29 and before 19:01.

  • London Waterloo after 04:29 and before 08:15 and after 15:59 and before 19:01.

  • Clapham Junction after 04:29 and before 08:20 and after 15:59 and before 19:01.

Notes

Additional restrictions apply for the following journeys:

  •     Validity code WO applies to all journeys via Newbury or Didcot Parkway, not passing through Reading.

  •     Validity Code Q8 applies to all journeys via Fareham / Southampton / Salisbury.

  •     Validity Codes 7E / 9J apply to all journeys via London St Pancras International.

Severn Tunnel Closure Wednesday 3 to Thursday 18 July 2024

The following easements will apply during this line closure, for customers travelling to/from Wales, for journeys to / from / via Didcot, Reading, London and Southeast:

Travel from London

The 10:12 GWR service from London Paddington to Swansea becomes Super Off-Peak.

The 15:12 GWR service from London Paddington to Swansea becomes Super Off-Peak.

The 18:12 GWR service from London Paddington to Swansea becomes valid with Off-Peak and Super Off-Peak tickets.
