WiFi Facilities
An increasing number of train operating companies are providing on board WiFi facilities. WiFi provision is more commonly available on long distance inter-city routes as opposed to shorter commuter routes. The charges and availability varies with different train operating companies as below.
Arriva Trains Wales
WiFi is not currently available on Arriva Trains Wales services.
c2c
WiFi is not currently available on c2c services.
Chiltern Railways
WiFi is available on all Chiltern Railways 'mainline trains' in the business zone and standard class.
CrossCountry
WiFi is currently being piloted on long-distance CrossCountry services.
East Coast
WiFi internet access is available on East Coast trains, in East Coast First Class Lounges and throughout York Station.
On-board WiFi is free for First Class customers. In Standard Class, customers get 15 minutes free usage. After this period, access costs are £4.95 per hour, or £9.95 for 24 hours.
East Coast Rewards members can get 24 hours of free on-board WiFi in First Class for just 50 Points.

East Midlands Trains
WiFi internet access is available on East Midlands Trains ‘mainline routes’ to and from London. It is free to First Class customers and available in Standard Class for £4.00 per journey, £7.50 per day, £40.00 per month or £299.00 per year.
WiFi access on board East Midlands Trains services is subject to these terms and conditions.
First Capital Connect
WiFi is not currently available on First Capital Connect services.
First Great Western
WiFi is not currently available on First Great Western services.
First Hull Trains
Free WiFi internet is available on most First Hull Trains services. When on a First Hull Trains service, simply log-on to hulltrains.on.icomera.com (a short registration form needs completing for first-time users).

First Transpennine Express
WiFi is not currently available on First TransPennine Express services.
Grand Central
Free WiFi internet is available on all Grand Central trains.
Greater Anglia
WiFi internet is now available for all customers travelling on Inter-City services between Norwich, Ipswich and London. This is provided free to First Class customers, or for £2.95 per trip to Standard Class customers.

Virgin Trains
WiFi internet is available on all Virgin Train services.
The service is complimentary for First Class customers and chargeable in Standard, via a number of payment options.
