Description

Network Rail are carrying out engineering work across various parts of the Great Western Railway network, closing some lines.

Monday - Tuesday

21:48 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill will terminate at Oxford. A bus will operate from Oxford to Hanborough, Charlbury, Shipton, Kingham, Moreton-in-Marsh, Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore and Worcester Shrub Hill. There will also be a minibus from Oxford to Worcester Shrub Hill, calling as above except Charlbury.

21:51 Hereford to London Paddington will terminate at Worcester Shrub Hill. Road transport will operate between Worcester Shrub Hill and Oxford for onward rail connections.

Monday - Thursday

The following trains are diverted between Reading and Bath Spa, not calling at Didcot Parkway / Swindon and Chippenham:

  • 17.42 Penzance to London Paddington
  • 21:45 London Paddington to Exeter St Davids
  • 22:15 London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads
  • 22:45 London Paddington to Swansea
  • 23:30 London Paddington to Cardiff Central 

 

You will need to use alternative rail or buses services to complete your journeys.

20:29 Swansea to London Paddington will be diverted after Bristol Parkway, to terminate Bristol Temple Meads. You will need to use alternative bus and rail services to complete your journey.

Friday

22:27 London Paddington to Oxford will terminate at Didcot Parkway.The 23:18 London Paddington to Moreton-in-Marsh will call additionally at Didcot Parkway.

23:32 London Paddington to Oxford will terminate Didcot Parkway. The 00:22(Sat) London Paddington to Oxford will call additionally at Didcot Parkway, Appleford, Culham and Radley.
