Description

Work on the signalling equipment is taking place in the Grantham area, closing all lines.

From 13:00 on Saturday until 12:00 on Sunday, trains will not call at Grantham.

Trains between Nottingham and Skegness will not call at Grantham but will call additionally at Bottesford. Buses will run between Bottesford and Grantham to connect with these services.

Trains between Nottingham and Grantham will be replaced by buses between Bottesford and Grantham.

Trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Norwich will be amended to run between Liverpool Lime Street and Nottingham and between Nottingham and Norwich via Melton Mowbray. If you are travelling to / from Grantham you should travel via Nottingham using train services between Nottingham and Bottesford and replacement bus services between Bottesford and Grantham.

Grand Central, Hull Trains and Virgin Trains East Coast services will be diverted via an alternative route between Doncaster and Peterborough. You can find more information on this here.
