Southeastern services during Christmas and New Year 2017/18

Please find below a day-by-day summary of the services that Southeastern will be running over the Christmas and New Year Bank Holiday period.

Saturday 23 December

 

Due to major work on the Thameslink programme, trains will not run to or from London Charing Cross, London Waterloo East, London Cannon Street, London Bridge, Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill, Westcombe Park, New Cross or St Johns.

An amended timetable will operate.

Sunday 24 December

 

Due to major work on the Thameslink programme, trains will not run to or from London Charing Cross, London Waterloo East, London Cannon Street, London Bridge, Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill, Westcombe Park, New Cross or St Johns.

An amended timetable will operate.

Monday 25 December

 

No service.

Tuesday 26 December

 

No service.

There will be no high speed services running on Boxing Day this year.

Wednesday 27 December

 

Due to major work on the Thameslink programme, trains will not run to or from London Charing Cross, London Waterloo East, London Cannon Street, London Bridge, Deptford, Greenwich, Maze Hill, Westcombe Park, New Cross or St Johns.

An amended timetable with a significantly reduced service will operate to London Victoria, Blackfriars and London Waterloo. London Victoria is expected to be extremely busy, especially at peak times. There will be some additional high speed services to London St Pancras International and non high speed tickets will be accepted on this date.

For routes not affected by the engineering work a revised Saturday service will run,  except the High Speed and the Medway Valley line which will have the normal midweek service.

Tuesday 2 January

 

New timetable, and Southeastern will be re-instating services to and from London Bridge after the completion of the major Thameslink Programme works. London Bridge platforms 1, 2 and 3 will re-open to passenger trains.
