Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Paddington and Slough, closing all lines.

No Great Western Railway trains will run between London Paddington and Slough throughout.

Sunday 24 December:

A 2 hourly service between London Marylebone and the West of England / South Wales calling at Chippenham and Bath Spa, will run via High Wycombe or Oxford, not serving either.

An hourly service will run between Reading and Bristol Temple Meads, calling at Didcot Parkway, Swindon, Chippenham and Bath Spa.

An hourly service will run between Swindon and Cheltenham Spa calling at Kemble, Stroud, Stonehouse and Gloucester.

Road transport will run between Pewsey and Swindon, and between Castle Cary and Taunton.

Sunday 24 and Wednesday 27 December:

An hourly service will run between Slough and Oxford / Worcester / Great Malvern / Hereford, calling additionally at Maidenhead, Reading and Didcot Parkway.

A half hourly service will run between Slough and Oxford, calling at Maidenhead, Twyford, Reading, Tilehurst, Pangbourne, Goring & Streatley, Cholsey and Didcot Parkway. Every other service will call at Radley additionally and some trains may call at Appleford or Culham.

The London Paddington / West Ealing / Greenford service will not run. Customers should use TfL Buses and London Underground services for Drayton Green, Castle Bar Park, South Greenford, Greenford, Acton Main Line, West Ealing and Hanwell.

No trains will call at Burnham and Taplow. A half-hourly bus services will run between Slough / Burnham / Taplow and Maidenhead.

Customers travelling between Slough and London should use London Underground services via Hillingdon to connect with a replacement bus to / from Slough.

Customers travelling to / from Maidenhead / Marlow may use Chiltern Railways services between London Marylebone and High Wycombe, connecting with a replacement bus service between High Wycombe and Maidenhead / Marlow.

Customers also may use South Western Railway services between London Waterloo and Reading / Windsor & Eton Central / Newbury.

It is not yet known how Heathrow Connect and Heathrow Express are effected.

These changes are not currently shown in the National Rail Enquiries Journey Planner, please check back nearer to the time of travel.

Bicycles:
