Description

Engineering work is taking place between Crewe and Chester, closing the line each night from 23:30.

Monday to Thursday (nights)

21:17 Cardiff Central to Chester service will terminate at Crewe. A bus will run between Crewe and Chester. If you are travelling to Chester, you could change at Shrewsbury and connect with an alternative train service to Chester.

22:55 Birmingham New Street to Holyhead service will terminate at Crewe. A bus will run between Crewe and Chester. An additional train will run from Chester to Holyhead.

23:30 Crewe to Chester will be replaced by a bus throughout.

Tuesday to Friday (mornings)

04:22 Chester to Birmingham New Street service will start from Crewe at 04:59. An earlier replacement bus will depart Chester to connect with this service.

04:55 Chester to Crewe will not run. Customers should travel on the 04:38 Llandudno Junction to Crewe train service.
