Description

Engineering work is taking place between Liverpool Lime Street and Hunts Cross, closing the line between these stations.

East Midlands Trains

Trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Piccadilly will not run via Liverpool South Parkway and Warrington Central. Trains will be diverted via Newton-le-Willows, calling additionally at this station.

Buses will run between Newton-le-Willows, Warrington Central and Widnes for connecting passengers.

London Midland

Buses will replace trains between Liverpool South Parkway and Crewe. To help complete journeys, customers can use Merseyrail services between Liverpool Central and Liverpool South Parkway.

Northern

Buses will replace trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Hunts Cross.

Virgin Trains

Trains will be diverted between Liverpool Lime Street and Crewe, travelling via Warrington Bank Quay.  Trains will have extended journey times of up to 20 minutes and will depart Liverpool Lime Street at an earlier time.

Trains will not be able to call at Runcorn. Buses will run between Liverpool Lime Street, Runcorn and Crewe for connecting passengers.

After 22:00, the train service will resume between Liverpool Lime Street and Crewe via Runcorn.

Bicycles:
