Buses replace trains between Leicester and Nottingham / Derby from 22:00 on Saturday 10 and all day on Sunday 11 February

East Midlands Trains between London St Pancras / Leicester / Kettering and Nottingham / Derby / Matlock / Sheffield / York / Corby.

Engineering work is taking place between Loughborough and Long Eaton / Beeston from Saturday evening and all day on Sunday. As a result, all lines will be closed.


Replacement buses will run between Leicester and Derby.

East Midlands Trains:


Evening services between London St Pancras and Nottingham / Derby / Sheffield will be amended to terminate / start from Leicester or will be cancelled throughout. Replacement buses will run between Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield.


Two trains per hour will run between Leicester and London St Pancras, connecting with replacement bus services between Leicester and Derby / Nottingham, calling at all stations. An amended train service will run between Derby and Sheffield.

Trains between Matlock and Nottingham will terminate at Derby. The 10:45 Grantham to Matlock service will terminate at Nottingham. Replacement buses will operate between Derby and Nottingham.

Trains between Kettering and Corby are also cancelled. Replacement buses will run between these stations.
