Great Western Railway between Cardiff Central / Brighton and Portsmouth Harbour

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Warminster and Romsey. As a result, trains will be unable to run.

Great Western Railway:

Services between Cardiff Central / Great Malvern and Portsmouth Harbour will terminate at Warminster. Replacement buses will run between Warminster and Southampton Central.

An amended train service will run between Southampton Central and Portsmouth Harbour.

Westbury to Salisbury, Westbury to Southampton Central and Frome to Southampton Central services will not run.

Customers for Romsey should travel with South Western Railway via Southampton Central.

Most services between Portsmouth Harbour and Brighton will not run. On Sunday, the 0819 Romsey to Brighton service will be diverted after Cosham to Fratton, Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour.

South Western Railway:

Buses will replace trains between Salisbury and Romsey, calling at Dean and Mottisfont & Dunbridge.
