Description

Engineering work is taking place between Slough and Reading, closing some lines.

The following services will not call at Burnham:

The 21:45, 23:15 and 23:52 services from London Paddington to Reading.

The 22:15 and 22:45 services from London Paddington to Didcot Parkway.

The 22:24 service from Reading to London Paddington.

The 22:29, 23:15 and 23:53 services from Didcot Parkway to London Paddington.

Customers for Burnham should disembark at Slough, where replacement buses will run from Slough to Burnham.

Project Information:

The Crossrail Project is building the Elizabeth line to link Reading and Heathrow in the west with Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east, via new 21km tunnels under central London. This will increase London's rail capacity, cut passenger journey times across the city, encourage regeneration and generate significant employment opportunities.

This project is part of the London Railway Upgrade Plan, creating new connections and increasing capacity in peak hour by 30%.
