Changes to train times

Last trains leaving London on Christmas Eve 2017

Train services on most routes across the country will finish early on Christmas Eve, Sunday 24 December. Please bear this in mind when making your travel plans for the Christmas holiday.

In addition, as Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, a number of key routes will already be disrupted or closed by planned engineering work.

Travel out of London will be particularly affected by the early shut down and engineering projects. So we have compiled this guide to the final train departures from London to key destinations on Christmas Eve. Please confirm your travel plans using our Journey Planner, and you can get more holiday travel information here.
