Great Western Railway between Cardiff Central / Romsey and Brighton

Southern between Southampton Central / Portsmouth Harbour and Brighton 

South Western Railway between London Waterloo and Portsmouth Harbour

Engineering work is taking place between Cosham and Southbourne, closing all lines.

Great Western Railway:

Trains will not run between Cosham and Brighton. Services to / from Cardiff Central / Romsey will be diverted to Portsmouth Harbour. Customers can use alternative Southern services.

South Western Railway:

Trains between London Waterloo and Portsmouth Harbour will start from / terminate at Petersfield. A replacement bus will run between Petersfield and Portsmouth Harbour.


Trains from Brighton to Southampton / Portsmouth Harbour services will operate between Brighton and Chichester. The London Victoria to Portsmouth Harbour / Littlehampton services will operate between Three Bridges and Chichester / Littlehampton.

Road replacement transport will run between Chichester and Portsmouth Harbour. There is also ticket acceptance with South Western Railway for services between Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton Central.
