Description

On Saturday, engineering work is taking place between London Liverpool Street and Barking / Ingatestone / Southend Victoria / Southminster and on Sunday between London Liverpool Street and Barking / Witham / Southend Victoria / Southminster.

Trains will be diverted to London Fenchurch Street, calling additionally at West Ham and Limehouse.

Customers holding a valid ticket can use London Underground Jubilee Line or the Docklands Light Railway between West Ham and Stratford at no extra charge.

London Liverpool Street is also within walking distance of London Fenchurch Street.

Greater Anglia

On Saturday, there will be no trains between Liverpool Street and Ingatestone / Southend Victoria / Southminster all day. Buses will operate between Ingatestone / Southend Victoria / Southminster and Newbury Park (London Underground Tube Station).

On Sunday, there will be no trains between Liverpool Street and Witham / Southend Victoria / Southminster. Buses will operate between Witham / Southend Victoria / Southminster and Newbury Park (London Underground Tube Station).

Tickets will be accepted on the London Underground Central Line between London Liverpool Street and Newbury Park.

Tickets will also be accepted on c2c to and from Southend Central for monthly and longer season ticket holders.

TfL Rail

An amended service will run between London Liverpool Street and Stratford, with 4 trains per hour running. Replacement buses will run from Stratford to Romford, calling at all stations except Maryland, and also between Newbury Park and Shenfield via Chadwell Heath.

Road closures are required this weekend due to infrastructure improvement work being carried out at Seven Kings station. Rail replacement bus stops will be relocated at Seven Kings, Goodmayes & Chadwell Heath. Locations can be found here.

Project Information:

The Crossrail Project is building the Elizabeth line to link Reading and Heathrow in the west with Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east, via new 21km tunnels under central London. This will increase London's rail capacity, cut passenger journey times across the city, encourage regeneration and generate significant employment opportunities.

This project is part of the London Railway Upgrade Plan, creating new connections and increasing capacity in peak hour by 30%.
