Recommended station

The nearest station is Cheltenham Spa. During the festival, a shuttle bus will run to and from the races. It is also a ten minute taxi from Cheltenham Spa. 

The direct trains to Cheltenham Spa are: 

  • Cardiff Central - 1 hour 13 minutes
  • Swindon - 1 hour 9 minutes 
  • Bristol Temple Meads - 40 minutes 
  • Manchester Piccadilly - 2 hours 17 minutes 
A special racecourse bus also leaves from outside WHSmith on Cheltenham High Street. Or you can hop on Stagecoach bus D or the 527. Buses run regularly. 

Please note that Cheltenham Spa car park will be shut from 10 March and reopens on Monday 19 March. There will be no on-street parking close to the station. Parking can be found at Arle Court Park & Ride or the NCP Brewery car park.
