Description

Engineering work is taking place between Larbert and Perth, closing some lines.

ScotRail:

Services between Glasgow Queen Street and Aberdeen will be diverted to run via Fife, and will depart earlier than usual. Replacement buses will run between Glasgow Queen Street and Dundee for customers traveling to stations via Stirling and Perth.

Services between Glasgow Queen Street and Inverness / Inverurie / Elgin will run between Perth and and Inverness / Inverurie / Elgin. A replacement bus service will run between Glasgow Queen Street and Perth.

Services between Glasgow Queen Street and Stirling / Dunblane / Alloa will be diverted to terminate at Falkirk Grahamston. Replacement buses will run between Falkirk Grahamston and Stirling / Dunblane / Alloa.

Services between Edinburgh and Perth via Stirling, and also between Edinburgh and Stirling / Dunblane will run between Edinburgh and Falkirk Grahamston. Replacement buses will run between Falkirk Grahamston and Perth, calling at all booked stations.

Virgin Trains East Coast:

Services between London Kings Cross and Inverness will be diverted between Haymarket and Perth. A replacement bus will run between Edinburgh and Perth, calling at Falkirk Grahamston, Stirling, Dunblane and Gleneagles.

Project Information:

The Edinburgh Glasgow Improvement Programme (EGIP) is a comprehensive package of improvements to Scotland's railway infrastructure.

A Scottish Government priority, the £742m EGIP is being delivered by Network Rail and includes modernisation and upgrades to key junctions and infrastructure as well as widespread electrification of the Scottish rail network, including the main line between Edinburgh and Glasgow and to Stirling and Dunblane.
