Engineering work is taking place overnight between Cardiff Central and Barry Island / Penarth and Bridgend via the Vale of Glamorgan, closing various lines.

  • The 21:54 Aberdare to Penarth terminates at Cardiff Central, a replacement bus service Cardiff to Penarth.
  • The 22:42 Bridgend to Cardiff Central diverted via Pontyclun. A replacement bus service between Bridgend and Cardiff Central.
  • The 23:14 Radyr to Barry Island terminates at Cardiff Central. A replacement bus service between Cardiff Central and Barry Island.
  • The 23:26 Penarth to Cardiff Central will not run. Passengers forward to Cardiff Central on a replacement bus service.
  • The 05:16 Barry Island to Caerphilly starts at Cardiff Central. A replacement bus service will be in operation between Barry Island and Cardiff Central departing EARLIER at 0500.
