Buses replace trains between Brighton and Barnham on Sunday 20 May

Engineering work is taking place between Angmering / Arundel and Littlehampton / Barnham, closing all lines.

Great Western Railway:

The 08:19 Romsey to Brighton service will terminate at Barnham, as will the 10:08, 12:08 and 16:35 Cardiff Central to Brighton services. Replacement buses will run between Barnham and Worthing to connect with these trains.

The 11:10 Brighton to Cardiff Central will start from Barnham, as will the 15:46 and 17:46 Brighton to Bristol Temple Meads services. Replacement buses will run between Worthing and Barnham to connect with these trains.

The 21:46 Brighton to Portsmouth Harbour service will not run. Customers should use alternative services.


On Saturday, the 23:17 London Victoria to Chichester services will terminate at Worthing. A rail replacement bus will run from Worthing to Chichester.

On Sunday, trains will not run between Angmering / Arundel and Littlehampton / Barnham. A rail replacement bus service will operate between Angmering and Barnham via Arundel and between Angmering and Barnham via Littlehampton.

Customers may also use alternative Southern services.
