Description

Engineering work is taking place between Brixton / London Blackfriars and Herne Hill / Peckham Rye, closing some lines.

Southeastern

Some services to and from London Victoria will be amended. The following alterations will apply:

  • Some services between London Victoria and Dover Priory will be retimed and diverted via Herne Hill. These services will run as normal between Bromley South and Dover.
  • Services between London Victoria and Orpington will be diverted via Catford.
  • London Victoria - Bromley South services will not run.
  • On Sunday only, services between London Victoria and Canterbury East will be re timed and diverted via Herne Hill. These services will run as normal between Bromley South and Canterbury East.
  • On Sunday only, services between London Victoria and Canterbury West will be retimed.
  • Trains are unable to call at Brixton station.

 

Ticket acceptance:

Customers may use London Underground via reasonable routes between Brixton and London Victoria / London Blackfriars and London Charing Cross / Southwark / London Bridge and Elephant & Castle. Customers may also use their tickets on Thameslink services between London Blackfriars and Sevenoaks.

Thameslink

On Saturday, the following alterations will apply:

  • Kentish Town to Orpington services will not run. Customers should use alternative Thameslink services.
  • Luton to Rainham services will not run. Customers can use Thameslink and Southeastern services via any reasonable route.
  • Two trains per hour will run between St Albans and Streatham via Wimbledon. Services will be diverted after London Blackfriars and not call at stations via Herne Hill, but will call additionally at London Bridge.
  • Two trains per hour will run between London Victoria and Sevenoaks. Services will be diverted, not calling at stations via Catford, but will call additionally at Herne Hill, West Dulwich, Sydenham Hill, Penge East, Kent House and Beckenham Junction.

Ticket acceptance:

Customers travelling to and from stations via Catford, and also to and from Orpington / Petts Wood can use Southeastern services via any reasonable route. Customers travelling to and from stations via Mitcham Junction can use Southern services via any reasonable route.
