Description

Engineering work is taking place between Sheffield and Wakefield Westgate, closing some lines.

CrossCountry

Buses will replace services between Sheffield and Doncaster / Wakefield Westgate.

East Midlands Trains

On Saturday, East Midlands Trains will need to reduce the number of trains to and from Sheffield, to allow other operators to terminate their services there. As a result, a significantly amended and reduced East Midlands Trains service will operate north of Derby.

On Sunday, trains between Leeds / York and London St Pancras International will run between Sheffield and London St Pancras International only and will not call at Wakefield Westgate or Doncaster.

Northern

The following alterations will apply across both days:

Services between Sheffield and Hull / Lincoln and Leeds, will start / terminate at Meadowhall.

Services between Sheffield and Goole will start / terminate at Rotherham Central.

Services between Sheffield and Leeds will start / terminate at Rotherham Central.

Services between Sheffield and Leeds via Barnsley will start / terminate at Barnsley

Services between Leeds and Nottingham will run between Leeds and Meadowhall / Sheffield and Nottingham only.

York to Sheffield service will be replaced by a bus throughout.

TransPennine Express

All services between Manchester and Cleethorpes will be replaced by coaches between Sheffield and Doncaster (NOT calling at Meadowhall). Customers to / from Meadowhall should travel via Sheffield using replacement coach services provided by other operators or use the frequent tram services between the two stations (separate ticket required).
