Description

Engineering work is taking place between Darlington and Middlesbrough / Sunderland from 23:00 on Saturday evening, until 16:00 on Sunday, closing some lines.

Grand Central:

On Sunday, the 09:20 (departing 09:25), 12:12 (departing 11:56) and 14:12 (departing 13:58) Sunderland to London Kings Cross services will be diverted via Darlington to Northallerton, increasing journey times. Replacement buses will run between Hartlepool and Darlington to connect with this train.

The 09:52 London Kings Cross to Sunderland service will divert between Northallerton and Sunderland via Darlington, increasing the journey time. A replacement bus will run between Darlington and Hartlepool.

Grand Central services on Saturday are not affected by this engineering work.

Northern:

Trains between Saltburn and Bishop Auckland will run between Saltburn and Middlesbrough, also between Darlington and Bishop Auckland, not serving Dinsdale, Tee-side Airport, Allens West and Thornaby.

A replacement bus will run between Middlesbrough and Darlington.
