Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Reading West on Saturday evening and also between Reading West and Basingstoke on Sunday morning and Sunday evening, closing all lines.

CrossCountry

Trains will be diverted extending journey times by up to 1 hour and will not call at Basingstoke, Winchester and Southampton Airport Parkway. Buses will run between Reading and Basingstoke.

Great Western Railway: 

From approximately 20:30 on Saturday evening, buses replace trains between Reading and Basingstoke.

Until 09:40 and after 20:30 on Sunday, buses replace trains between Reading and Basingstoke.

You can find below approximate bus times for journeys between READING and:

  • Reading West - 8 minutes
  • Mortimer - 33 minutes
  • Bramley - 53 minutes
  • Basingstoke - 75 minutes
