Amended Great Western Railway trains from Monday 23 to Friday 27 July

Engineering work is taking place at various locations on the Great Western Railway network, closing some lines.

As a result, the following services will be amended:


The 04:54 Oxford to Didcot Parkway service will not run. A bus will run from Oxford at 04:29, calling at Radley at 04:44 and arriving at Didcot Parkway at 05:09. 

Monday to Thursday:

The 20:15, 21:15 and 22:45 London Paddington to Swansea services will be diverted between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, and will call at stations beyond Bridgend a few minutes later than usual.

The 23:30 London Paddington to Cardiff Central will be diverted between Bristol Temple Meads and Patchway.

Monday to Wednesday:

23:27 Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads service will depart Patchway and beyond 5 minutes later than normal.

Tuesday to Friday:

03:54 Swansea to London Paddington is no longer affected by these engineering works and will run as normal.
