Engineering work is taking place between Tilehurst and Didcot Parkway, closing some lines overnight from Monday evening until Saturday morning.

As a result, the following trains will not call at Pangbourne:

Monday to Thursday:

  • 20:27, 20:57, 21:27, 21:57 and 23:27 (departing 23:28) London Paddington to Didcot Parkway.
  • 23:45 Reading to Oxford.
  • 21:37 and 23:45 Banbury to Reading.
  • 22:02 and 23:21 Didcot Parkway to Reading.

Tuesday to Friday:

  • 03:51 Oxford to Reading.


  • 23:27 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway. (Departing at 23:38)
  • 23:45 Reading to Oxford.
  • 23:45 Banbury to Reading.

Customers for the 23:45 Reading to Oxford (Friday) and the 20:27 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway (Monday to Thursday) services should travel by alternative rail services.

For all other train services, customers should use replacement buses running between Pangbourne and Tilehurst in both directions.
