ScotRail between Balloch / Milngavie and Glasgow Central / Motherwell / Larkhall

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Partick and Rutherglen, closing some lines.

Glasgow – Motherwell/Lanark

Most services are slightly retimed between Glasgow and Motherwell/Lanark. All services will, however, run via their normal route and will not be diverted.

Milngavie-Motherwell (via Glasgow Central Low Level and Hamilton) & Balloch – Larkhall/Motherwell (via Glasgow Central Low Level)

Due to capacity constraints at Rutherglen, services will run on a revised timetable between Rutherglen and Motherwell/Larkhall. Some services will run significantly later throughout.

Balloch – Larkhall/Motherwell

Services are revised to operate to/from Springburn, calling additionally at Charing Cross, Glasgow Queen Street Low Level, High Street and Bellgrove.

Milngavie/Motherwell

Services are revised to operate to/from Springburn, calling additionally at Charing Cross, Glasgow Queen Street Low Level, High Street and Bellgrove.

Partick – Cumbernauld

Most Partick – Cumbernauld services will also be extended to/from Milngavie, to retain a half hourly service between Milngavie and Glasgow.

Newton/Glasgow Central Low Level and Partick

Buses replace trains between Newton/Glasgow Central Low Level and Partick.

Please note replacement buses cannot serve Argyle Street station. Please use Glasgow Central instead. Please note that there is no Sunday service at Anderston station.

Helensburgh – Edinburgh

Trains run as normal. Milngavie passengers can use these services and change at Anniesland for a forwarding connection.

Glasgow Central – Newton

Some services are slightly retimed.
