Buses replace late night trains between Radyr and Pontypridd / Merthyr Tydfil / Aberdare from Monday 29 October until Thursday 1 November

Engineering work is taking place between Radyr and Pontypridd / Treherbert / Merthyr Tydfil / Aberdare each night from 23:30, closing all lines.

As a result, the following alterations will be in place:

  • 21:42 Bridgend - Aberdare will terminate at Cardiff Central
  • 21:55 Barry Island - Merthyr Tydfil will terminate at Pontypridd
  • 22:44 Barry Island - Pontypridd will terminate at Radyr


Replacement road transport will then run between Pontypridd and Aberdare / Merthyr Tydfil and between Radyr and Pontypridd.
