Description

Engineering work is taking place each evening from Monday to Friday between Crewe and Chester, closing all lines.

The following alterations will be in place between Monday and Thursday:

  • 21:17 Cardiff Central - Chester will terminate at Shrewsbury. Passengers should then use the 23:31 Shrewsbury to Crewe to connect with replacement road transport on to Chester
  • 22:52 Birmingham New Street - Holyhead will terminate at Crewe. Replacement road transport will then run to Chester where passengers can then connect with the 00:40 train service to Holyhead.
  • 23:30 Crewe - Chester service will run earlier at 23:00. Passengers unable to make this should use replacement road transport between these stations.

 

The following alterations will be in place between Tuesday and Friday:

  • 04:22 Chester - Birmingham New Street will start at Crewe at 04:59. Passengers should use road transport from Chester to connect with this service.
  • 04:55 Chester - Crewe will NOT run. Passengers are advised to travel on the 04:38 Llandudno Junction - Crewe service.
