Great Western Railway between London Paddington / Henley-on-Thames and Reading

Engineering work is taking place between Slough and Reading, closing lines between 00:01 and 05:15 on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.

As a result, the following trains will be amended:

  • The 00:19 Henley-on-Thames to Reading service will terminate at Twyford. Customers should use alternative rail connections between Twyford and Reading.
  • The 00:14 Reading to London Paddington and the 00:34 London Paddington to Reading services will not call at Burnham or Taplow stations. Customers for these stations should use the replacement buses running between Burnham / Taplow and Slough.
  • The 05:02 Reading to London Paddington service will not call at Taplow or Burnham. Customers for these stations should travel on later services.
