Description

Engineering work is taking place between Glasgow Central and Kilmarnock / Neilston / East Kilbride / Newton, closing all lines.

As a result of this, buses will replace trains between Glasgow Central and Kilmarnock / Neilston / East Kilbride / Newton.

Due to limited road access at Thorntonhall, a connecting minibus service will run between Hairmyres and Thorntonhall. 

A direct bus will also operate from Glasgow Central to Kilmarnock at 15:00 and 21:59 to connect with train services on to Carlisle.
