Amended evening services between Manchester Piccadilly and Macclesfield / Crewe from Monday 26 to Thursday 29 November

Northern between Manchester Piccadilly and Macclesfield / Crewe

Engineering work is taking place between Manchester Piccadilly and Wilmslow / Congleton overnight, closing some lines.

As a result, the following trains will be amended:

  • The 23:12 Crewe to Manchester Piccadilly will not call at Handforth, Cheadle Hulme, Stockport, Heaton Chapel or Levenshulme. A replacement bus will run between Wilmslow and Manchester Piccadilly, calling at these stations.
  • The 23:14 Manchester Piccadilly to Macclesfield service will terminate at Stockport. A replacement bus will run between Stockport and Macclesfield.
  • The 23:38 Manchester Piccadilly to Crewe service will not call at Levenshulme, Heaton Chapel, Stockport, Cheadle Hulme or Handforth. A replacement bus will run between Manchester Piccadilly and Crewe to serve these stations. This bus will set down only at Wilmslow.
