Description

Engineering work is taking place between Sheffield and Doncaster, and also between Sheffield and Wakefield Westgate, closing some lines.

CrossCountry:

Services to / from Newcastle will be amended, and will terminate at Sheffield.

Services to / from Scotland will be diverted to run on an alternative route, extending journey times by 10 minutes.

East Midlands Trains:

Services between London St Pancras and York will be subject to extended journey times.

Northern:

Sheffield - Leeds via Moorthorpe

Trains are diverted between Sheffield and Rotherham and will not call at Meadowhall. Replacement buses will run between Sheffield and Rotherham, calling at Meadowhall.

Sheffield - Goole / Hull

Until 11:30, trains are diverted between Sheffield and Rotherham and will not call at Meadowhall. Replacement buses will run between Sheffield and Rotherham, calling at Meadowhall.

From 11:30, buses will replace trains between Sheffield and Meadowhall.

Nottingham / Sheffield - Leeds / Huddersfield via Barnsley

Buses will replace trains between Sheffield and Barnsley.

TransPennine Express:

Trains are diverted between Doncaster and Sheffield and will not call at Meadowhall and will also run to an amended timetable.

Customers are advised to travel via Sheffield and use replacement buses supplied by other train operators at no extra cost.

There is a frequent tram service between Sheffield and Meadowhall, but a separate ticket will be required.
