Buses replace overnight trains between Dumfries and Carlisle / Kilmarnock from Monday 11 to Friday 15 March

Description

Track renewal work is taking place in the New Cumnock area, closing all lines overnight.

The following amendments will be in place from 23:00 from Monday 11 to Thursday 14 March:

  • The 23:10 Carlisle to Dumfries will be cancelled. A replacement bus will run from Carlisle to Dumfries
  • The 23:13 Glasgow to Dumfries will terminate at Kilmarnock. A replacement bus will run from Kilmarnock to Dumfries

The following amendments will be in place from 04:00 from Tuesday 12 to Friday 15 March:

  • The 04:58 Dumfries to Carlisle will be cancelled. A replacement bus will run from Dumfries to Carlisle
  • The 05:46 Dumfries to Glasgow Central will start at Kilmarnock. A replacement bus will run from Dumfries to Kilmarnock

Please be aware that replacement bus times may vary and in some cases may run earlier than the advertised train times.
