Description

Engineering work is taking place at various locations on the Great Western Railway network, closing various lines.

Monday only 

The 03:54, 04:58 and 05:29 Swansea to London Paddington services will start from Cardiff Central. Replacement buses will run from Swansea to Cardiff Central to connect with these services, with additional buses running from Neath, Port Talbot Parkway and Bridgend to Cardiff Central.

22:20 Bristol Temple Meads to Severn Beach will terminate at Avonmouth. A replacement bus service
will operate from Avonmouth to Severn Beach.

22:21 Gunnislake to Exeter St Davids will arrive at Exeter St Davids approximately 8 minutes later than normal. 

23:08 Severn Beach to Bristol Temple Meads will start from Avonmouth earlier than normal. A replacement bus service will operate from Severn Beach to Bristol Temple Meads, calling at all stations. 

23:27 Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads will not call at Stapleton Road and Lawrence Hill. A replacement bus service will operate from Filton Abbey Wood to Stapleton Road, Lawrence Hill and Bristol Temple Meads.

23:55 Paignton to Exeter St Davids will depart Teignmouth and beyond approximately 8 minutes later than normal.

Monday to Wednesday

23:18 Gatwick Airport to Reading will terminate Guildford. A connecting bus service will operate from Guildford to North Camp, Blackwater, Wokingham and Reading.

Monday to Thursday

20:15 London Paddington to Swansea will be diverted between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, departing Bridgend and beyond a few minutes later than normal.

20:22 London Paddington to Great Malvern will terminate at Worcester Foregate Street. Alternative rail connections can be made from Worcester Foregate Street to Malvern Link and Great Malvern.

21.11 Reading to Bedwyn will terminate at Newbury. A replacement bus will run from Newbury to Kintbury, Hungerford and Bedwyn. This bus also connects at Newbury out of 21:03 London Paddington to Plymouth.

21:15 and 22:45 London Paddington to Swansea will be diverted between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, departing Bridgend and beyond up to 27 minutes later than normal.

After approximately 21:00, trains between London Paddington / Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn will not operate between Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn. Buses will operate between Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn.

Tuesday only

04:45 Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington will start from Bristol Parkway, then call Swindon and beyond as normal. An earlier departing replacement bus will operate from Bristol Temple Meads to Bristol Parkway to connect into the train.

Tuesday and Wednesday only

21:03 London Paddington to Plymouth will depart Totnes and beyond later than normal.

Tuesday to Thursday

04:31 Reading to Gatwick Airport to Reading will start from Guildford. An earlier replacement bus will run direct from Reading to Guildford to connect into the train. There will also be a bus from Reading, calling at Wokingham, Blackwater and North Camp to Guildford to connect into a later train.

Tuesday to Friday

00:18 Reading to Newbury will not run and will be replaced by road transport from Reading setting down only at all stations to Newbury.

Friday

The 21:45 London Paddington to Exeter St Davids service will terminate at Bristol Temple Meads. Customers for stations towards Exeter St Davids should travel on the 23:44 Bristol Temple Meads to Exeter St Davids service.
