Description

Track maintenance work is taking place between Stratford / Hackney Downs and Cheshunt, closing lines via Tottenham Hale.

Until approximately 08:20, trains will be diverted via Seven Sisters and will be unable to call at stations via Tottenham Hale.

Customers should use alternative stations on the Seven Sisters route which are within walking distance of stations on the Tottenham Hale route.

Ticket acceptance:

If you are travelling to / from Lea Bridge, you should use London Buses between Lea Bridge and Stratford / Hackney Downs to help you with your journey.

Project information:

Network Rail are building an additional track between Stratford and Angel Road which will reduce congestion for passengers, increase the number of trains per hour and support regeneration across the Upper Lee Valley area.

A new station is also being built at Meridian Water to support the regeneration of a vast industrial area into 10,000 new homes and nearly 7000 new jobs. Network Rail are delivering the new station as part of the £170m Lee Valley Rail Programme.
