Engineering work is taking place between Tilehurst and Didcot Parkway, closing some lines overnight.

As a result, the following trains will not call at Pangbourne:

Monday to Wednesday:

  • 21:27 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway.
  • 21:37 Banbury to Reading.
  • 21:57 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway.
  • 23:21 Didcot Parkway to Reading.
  • 23:27 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway.
  • 23:45 Reading to Oxford.
  • 23:45 Banbury to Reading.

Tuesday to Thursday:

  • 03:51 Oxford to Reading.


  • 23:27 London Paddington to Didcot Parkway.
  • 23:45 Reading to Oxford (Customers for this train should travel on the 23:36 from Pangbourne to Tilehurst to connect with this train).
  • 23:45 Banbury to Reading.

Unless mentioned above, customers to / from Pangbourne should use replacement buses between Tilehurst and Pangbourne.
