Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Marylebone and Gerrards Cross on the Chiltern Mainline, which means a heavily amended timetable will be in operation.

Trains will not run between London Marylebone and Gerrards Cross.

Some trains will be diverted via alternative routes, and some journeys will involve using a replacement bus service and / or London Underground.

Most journey times will be considerably longer than usual.

A revised train service will run on the following routes:

  • London Marylebone - Banbury - Birmingham Moor Street (diverted via an alternative route)
  • London Marylebone - Amersham - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway
  • Gerrards Cross - Birmingham Snow Hill
  • Gerrards Cross - Oxford
  • Leamington Spa - Stratford-upon-Avon
  • Leamington Spa - Birmingham Moor Street

Replacement road transport will operate on the following routes:

  • Amersham - High Wycombe
  • Aylesbury Vale Parkway - Bicester Village
  • Princes Risborough - Aylesbury
  • West Ruislip - Hillingdon - Denham - Gerrards Cross

Customers can change at West Ruislip for London Underground connections.
