Thameslink between Bedford and Wimbledon / Brighton / Rainham,  Cambridge and Gatwick Airport, Luton and Sutton and between London Blackfriars and Sevenoaks

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the London St Pancras International area closing some lines.

As a result of this engineering work the line capacity at London St Pancras will be reduced.

East Midlands Trains.

Most trains to / from London St Pancras International will be retimed and in some cases trains will be re-platformed.

Trains before 10:00 will not run between Kettering and Bedford. These trains will be replaced by buses.

Thameslink

Trains between Bedford and Brighton will not run as a through service. Trains will run between Bedford and London St Pancras International high level platforms and between London St Pancras International low level platforms and Brighton.

Trains will be unable to call at Kentish Town. Replacement buses will run between West Hampstead Thameslink and St Pancras International calling at Kentish Town.

Trains between Cambridge and Gatwick Airport will now run between Cambridge and Kings Cross and between London Bridge and Gatwick Airport. 

Trains between London Blackfriars and Sevenoaks are diverted to run between London Victoria and Sevenoaks.

Trains between Luton and Sutton / Wimbledon will not run.

Ticket Acceptance

Customers may use London Underground between London St Pancras International and London Blackfriars / London Bridge.

Customers to or from Sutton / Wimbledon may use other train operators or London Buses between London Blackfriars / London Bridge and Sutton / Wimbledon on any reasonable route to complete their journey.
