Buses will replace trains between Westbury and Bristol Temple Meads. Journey times will be extended by up to one hour.

Bath Spa bus access

Due to limited road access to Bath Spa station, the replacement buses will not serve Bath Spa railway station.

Buses will pick up from a temporary bus station located near the junction of Avon Street and Green Park Road, which is close to the city centre. This is approximately 15 minutes walk from Bath Spa railway station.

A limited shuttle bus service will run between Bath Spa railway station and the temporary rail replacement bus station for passenges unable to walk.

Passengers walking to the coach station should turn left out of the railway station onto Dorchester Street. Then turn right and cross to turn left onto Somerset Street, passing The Forum on the right.  At the end of Somerset Street turn right, then left past the bus station onto Corn Street, then straight ahead for the coach station on Avon Street.
