Monday to Thursday
The following trains will be diverted via Crewe, and a bus replacement service will run between Chester and Warrington Bank Quay:
- 22:12 & 23:14 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester
- 23:22 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly
The following trains will be diverted via the Vale of Glamorgan and will be altered as follows:
- 22:15 Maesteg to Cheltenham Spa will end at Cardiff Central, a bus replacement service will run from Bridgend to Cheltenham Spa
- 22:25 Cardiff Central to Maesteg will start later at 22:31 not calling at Pontyclun, Llanharan or Pencoed, a bus replacement service will run from Cardiff Central to Bridgend
- 23:15 Cardiff Central to Carmarthen will not call at Pontyclun, Llanharan or Pencoed, a bus replacement service will run from Cardiff Central to Bridgend
- 22:42 Bridgend to Cardiff Central will start later at 22:54
The following trains have been replaced by buses:
- 22:38 Merthyr Tydfil to Cardiff Central
- 22:46 Cardiff Central to Treherbert
- 22:52 Aberdare to Cardiff Central
The following trains have been altered:
- 20:42 Bridgend to Aberdare will end at Pontypridd, a bus replacement service will run from Pontypridd and Aberdare
- 20:56 Barry Island to Merthyr Tydfil will end at Pontypridd, a bus replacement service will run from Pontypridd to Merthyr Tydfil
- 21:42 Bridgend to Aberdare will end at Cardiff Central, a bus replacement service from Cardiff Central to Aberdare
- 21:56 Barry Island to Merthyr Tydfil will end at Radyr, a bus replacement service will run from Radyr to Merthyr Tydfil
- 22:56 Barry Island to Pontypridd will end at Cardiff Central, a bus replacement service will run from Cardiff Central to Pontypridd
Tuesday to Friday
The following trains will be diverted via Crewe, and have been altered as follows:
- 00:25 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester will start at 00:40
- 04:29 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly will start earlier at 04:05
