The following train alterations will apply:
Monday - Thursday
- 20:09 Birmingham International to Aberystwyth will be replaced by a bus between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth
- 22:38 Merthyr Tydfil to Cardiff Central will be diverted and will not call at Llandaf, Cathays or Cardiff Queen Street. A bus will run between Radyr and Penarth with an extended journey time of 35 minutes
- 22:49 Penarth to Ystrad Mynach will be replaced by a bus between Cardiff Central and Ystrad Mynach with an extended journey time of 35 minutes
- 22:51 Aberdare to Cardiff Central will be diverted and will not call at Llandaf, Cathays or Cardiff Queen Street. A bus will run between Radyr and Cardiff Central with an extended journey time of 45 minutes
- 22:56 Barry Island to Pontypridd will be diverted and will not call at Cardiff Queen Street, Cathays or Llandaf. A bus will run between Cardiff Central and Pontypridd with an extended journey time of 45 minutes
- 23:10 Radyr to Barry Island will start from Cardiff Central at 23:55 and will be replaced by a bus between Radyr and Cardiff Central. Journey time will be extended by 25 minutes
- 23:14 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester will be diverted via Northwich and will be replaced by a bus between Manchester Piccadilly and Chester with an extended journey time of 65 minutes
- 23:22 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly will be diverted via Northwich and will be replaced by a bus between Chester and Manchester Piccadilly with an extended journey time of 65 minutes
- 23:53 Aberystwyth to Machynlleth will be replaced by a bus with an extended journey time of 25 minutes
The following trains will be cancelled and will not be replaced by a bus. Passengers are advised to travel by local CardiffBus services:
- 22:24 Cardiff Queen Street to Cardiff Bay
- 22:30 Cardiff Bay to Cardiff Queen Street

- 00:25 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester will be retimed to leave at the later time of 00:35
- 04:35 Cardiff Central to Manchester Piccadilly will be retimed to leave at the earlier time of 04:26
- 04:35 Machynlleth to Aberystwyth will be replaced by a bus with an extended journey time of 25 minutes
- 05:26 Cardiff Central to Merthyr Tydfil will be retimed to leave at the later time of 05:40
- 05:30 Aberystwyth to Birmingham International will be replaced by a bus between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth with an extended journey time of 25 minutes. The bus will leave Aberystwyth at the earlier time of 05:15
- 06:38 Merthyr Tydfil to Bridgend will be retimed to leave at the later time of 06:42
