London Charing Cross Station - Bus stop to Main Entrance

Route starts at bus stop E on Strand towards Aldwych. Bus numbers 6, 9, 13, 87, N9. N13, N44,N87 and N155 stop here. There is a shelter and seating provided.

On exiting the bus turn right.

Having turned right, continue ahead along the pavement which has a shallow incline.

At 15 metres continue ahead passing bus stop F on the right which at the time of assessment was not in use.

At 35 metres turn right and head towards the safe crossing point.

Cross over strand. There are drop kerbs and tactile paving to both sides with a button at an accessible height to control traffic.

At 45 metres having crossed over the road proceed straight ahead towards the station entrance. The pavement is on a shallow incline.

At 70 metres you here reached the station entrance. There is a wide open doorway and a shallow incline on the approach.

Route ends at Charing Cross Station.
