Current station status

All lifts at Jewellery Quarter will be out of service for refurbishment from 1 September and until late November 2009.
This station is built on several levels and there are 82 steps between the platforms and street level.
Passengers who are unable to use the stairs at Jewellery Quarter and require the use of lifts are advised to travel to Birmingham Snow Hill and ask for the Station Supervisor, who will arrange for a taxi service to Jewellery Quarter where appropriate (and on production of a valid ticket to Jewellery Quarter).
Passengers who require the use of a station wheelchair are advised to travel to Birmingham Moor Street where similar arrangements will be made.
