Reading Station - Bus Stop EK to Main Entrance
This route starts at bus stop EK on Blagrave Street, serving route 26 to Calcot via Southcote and Fords Farm. There is shelter and seating provided.
Alight the bus and turn left onto the pavement.
Proceed along a paved pedestrian island between the bus stops.
Having reached the end of the island at 29 metres, turn right towards a crossing point with dropped kerbs and tactile paving.
Please take care as there is a slight lip at the dropped kerb.
Cross the road being aware of busses approaching from the left.
Having crossed the road at 38 metres, turn left onto the pavement using the dropped kerb and tactile paving.
Continue ahead up a moderate incline.
At the top of the slope continue ahead. Beware of the camber on the pavement, which slopes down towards the left.
Please take care as the surface is uneven in places.
Having passed the cycle racks at 70 metres, turn right towards the Main Entrance.
Continue ahead towards the Main Entrance.
This route ends at the Main Entrance to Reading Station at a total distance of 97 metres.
