Southeastern High Speed services
Summary
Southeastern have launched a high speed rail service between London and the South East of England.
The 'preview' services are now running regularly on Saturdays and Sundays between Ashford International, Ebbsfleet International and London St Pancras International , whilst the midweek services (introduced earlier this year) have now been extended to Dover Priory, Folkestone West and Folkestone Central, Canterbury East and Ramsgate.
Monthly tickets, along with season tickets for longer periods of time will be available from railway stations and online
These trains are due to be introduced into regular service on this route from December 2009, reducing the journey time from Central London to South East England.
Travelling to/from Stratford International? (services start 13th Dec 2009)
Due to the continuing development of the Olympic Park, the only access to Stratford International station currently will be by a dedicated bus link from Stratford Regional station. This bus service will leave from the entrance/exit of platform 11 of the Regional station. The bus service will start running 30 minutes before the first High Speed train service and finish 30 minutes after the last, and take approximately 5 minutes to reach the International station.
Please note that there is no level access to platform 11 at the Regional station: access is from a subway via a flight of 32 steps. There is no lift. Customers who may have difficulty using the steps are advised to travel via St Pancras International and use alternative transport links to Stratford.
