An altered level of service will operate due to the following engineering work:

- Engineering work between Water Orton and Hinckley  :
Replacement bus services will be in operation between Birmingham New Street and Leicester, with train services in operation between Leicester and Ely. Further engineering work is also taking place between Ely and Stansted Airport, with replacement buses in operation
Customers travelling to Stansted Airport for flights should allow extra time for their journey (for example, the journey time between Birmingham New Street and Stansted Airport will be approximately six hours, instead of the usual three and a half hours). Customers should not travel via London as an alternative, as there is also engineering work at London Liverpool Street & Stratford affecting Stansted Express services.  

- Engineering work between Sheffield and Meadowhall :
CrossCountry services will be starting from/terminating at Doncaster and Sheffield, with replacement bus services in operation between Doncaster and Sheffield. Some services will be diverted between Leeds and Chesterfield, and these services will be unable to call at Sheffield.
