You can upgrade on the train - on a first come, first served basis. On some services, you may be able to reserve a seat in advance. Please be aware that many Train Companies offer a reduced First Class service at weekends and on Bank Holidays and may not offer the full service that they offer during the week. Upgrading to First Class during the week is also possible - find out more.
