TransPennine Express have launched a flat fare child add on for holders of the Senior Railcard. Its aim is to encourage Senior Railcard holders to take their grandchildren on the train for days out. The £3.00 ticket is a flat fare child add on. The £3.00 Add on is available for up to three children between the ages of 5 and 15, who are accompanied by the holder of a Senior Railcard.

Details

By any train except those timed to depart Mondays-Fridays before 0930. This is the case even when the Senior Railcard holder has a ticket with a different validity. There are no restrictions to the use of this ticket at weekends. The Return Portion of this ticket is valid for one calendar month.
