Travel to and from any location in the South Downs area by Southern train services (including Brighton, Southampton, Portsmouth, Bognor Regis, Haywards Heath, Chichester, Eastbourne, Hastings, Rye and Ashford) and have unlimited bus travel within the Downs area on bus services provided by Brighton and Hove, Cuckmere, Eastbourne and Rider. See Downlander Information for more information. Tickets can only be purchased from the Southern website.
Key conditions
1. Changes to eTicket after purchase: - Ticket can not be refunded or exchanged. - If the ticket is lost before travel this cannot be reprinted or refunded. - The ticket is only valid with identification of the person that was used to purchase the ticket. - The main ticket holder (person who purchased the ticket) can not be changed once the ticket is purchased. - The date of travel once chosen can not be changed once purchased. 2. At least one member of the party must be 16 years of age or over. 3. 1. Downlander is an eTicket which is only valid on train services provided by Southern and bus services provided by Brighton and Hove, Cuckmere, Eastbourne and Rider. Bus travel is unlimited for the day of travel on the following routes: - Brighton and Hove Buses: 12, 12A, 13, 14, 14A, 14B and 14C (which operate along the coast) and on the 28 and 29 between Brighton, Lewes, Ringmer and Uckfield. - Cuckmere Buses: Valid on all the Cuckmere Valley Ramblerbus and Michelham and Middle Farm Rambler services on Saturday and Sunday. - Eastbourne Buses: Valid on all bus services. - Rider Bus Routes: 118, 119 & 120 Seaford Town Services (operated by Renown Coaches) 123: Peacehaven - Newhaven - Kingston - Lewes (operated by Renown Coaches) 125: Lewes - Beddingham - Glynde - Firle - Selmeston - Berwick - Alfriston (operated by Countryliner) 126: Seaford - Alfriston - Polegate - Eastbourne (operated by Renown Coaches) 143: Eastbourne - Hailsham - Ringmer - Lewes (operated by Renown Coaches) 145: Newhaven Town Service (operated by Renown Coaches) Train travel on Southern: Valid for unlimited, off-peak travel on all Southern services between stations south of Horsham and Haywards Heath through to Southampton and Ashford International.
