East Coast are offering customers with First Advance tickets (or the First Class Reader Offer fare) an option to purchase access to East Coast First Class lounges for a supplement of £5. This will allow customers to take advantage of all East Coast First Class Lounge facilities, and complimentary items, either at the start of their journey and/or at a station where they are due to change

Conditions

The supplement will be available to all customers travelling on East Coast First Advance tickets or the Reader Offer First Class fare, if the customer's journey contains a East Coast First Class Lounge at the start point, end point or point of change.

For example:

On a journey from London to York, the First Class Lounge supplement will be available from London only.

A return journey from Newcastle to Peterborough will offer the supplement on the outward leg of the journey only, at a cost of £10.

A return journey from Edinburgh to London will offer the supplement for both legs of the journey at a cost of £20.

The supplement is not refundable.

How to buy

The supplement will be offered via the website www.eastcoast.co.uk, through Telesales and in Travel Centres. It will be exclusively available to holders of an East Coast First Advance Ticket or the Reader Offer First Class Fare.

Customers may purchase the supplement on the day of travel from the travel centre. To do so they need to produce a valid East Coast First Advance ticket.
