Wayfarer is a one day ticket that you pre-purchase and self-date on your selected day of travel. The tickets are valid all over Greater Manchester and parts of Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, Staffordshire and the Peak District.

  • The bus map shows the area covered by Wayfarer and the boundary for bus services that can be used.
  • The rail map shows the train stations and Metrolink tram stops where wayfarer can be used

You can buy Wayfarer tickets from:

  • Staffed rail stations
  • GMPTE Travelshops
  • At bus stations throughout the area
  • Tourist Information Centres in the Peak District and at some bus company ticket offices

Tickets are also available by post from: Wayfarer ticket sales, GMPTE, Wythenshawe Bus Station, Rowlands Way, Wythenshawe, M22 5RG. Please make cheques payable to 'GMPTE' and allow 14 days for delivery.
